Watching the Gods playing their games
Destroying humanity
Wishing to go back in time

What one day I prayed for

Eternity is not so good
When we have to stay alone

In front of my eyes
I can recognize all the signs
That something is changing
I can feel the death in me
The way I felt before
They plan the end of everything

Would give me the strength
To be a God
But I was wrong
For years I’m here, alone in this world
Wishing to die someday
Now I’m leaving this behind
Release from the pain of this life
The end of all is now

The gods are here to take our hearts
Our time is close
And I can die to finally rest in peace
This will be the end of everything
That I learned to love and carry in my heart
It must have some other way

I realize that someone
Is here for a reason
I will face their wrath to show
What I have to offer
They are tired of those who don’t
Are grateful for their lives
So I give up my death
To teach this to them all

I gave up my death to teach humanity
